Vezzano/Vetzan – Morter – Laces/Latsch – Coldrano/Goldrain – Vezzano/Vetzan
On this tour you explore Val Venosta/Vinschgau by MTB and ride through shady forests along the Silandro/Schlanders Montetramontana/Nördersberg as well as over the sunny slopes on the Monte Sole/Sonnenberg. The Residence Mathilda is the starting point for this variety-packed tour that leads through the fruit orchards to Ponte di Legno/Holzbrugg, along Montetramontana/Nördersberg, then over the forest road and later over the single trails to the weather cross above Morter. The tour takes you a little way into Val Martello/Martelltal up to the Montani junction then continues on the Waalweg to the Magrin earth until the ice rink in Laces/Latsch. The way back leads through the Laces/Latsch’s recreation zone, through the village and along the Via Claudia Augusta for a while. You reach the panoramic route to Coldrano/Goldrain via the sunny village of Tiss and return to the Residence Mathilda.

Monte Sole/Sonnenberg Trail – San Martino al Monte/St. Martin im Kofel
From the Residence Mathilda you set off on the Via Claudia Augusta as far as Castelbello/Kastelbell and from there you head up to the cable car top station to San Martino al Monte/St. Martin im Kofel. The first third uphill is the steepest, you have to overcome 850 metres difference in altitude in one go. The magnificent panorama, the national park and the Martello/Martell glaciers with the Cevedale, compensate you for your efforts. The downhill ride to Vezzano/Vetzan is superb and includes some really challenging passages. This trail is one of the most beautiful in the Alps – exploring Val Venosta/Vinschgau by MTB is really worth it here!

Covelano/Göflan marble quarry – Enduro special
From the Residence Mathilda you set off on the Via Claudia Augusta to the marble village of Lasa/Laas. There you turn off towards Tornello/Tarnell, ride over the white marble gravel road to the Weißwand quarry above the Covelano/Göflan mountain pasture. Here you can take a look at the marble deposits before the tour continues. You ride past the Knappenhütte inn to the Covelano/Göflan mountain pasture below where you can stop for a snack. You then continue on the forest road to the coal burners, then via a single track trail to the Casera Bianca/Weißkaser mountain pasture and then via the legendary Holy Hansen and the trail no. 4 to Morter. From Morter you ride through the fruit orchards back to Vezzano/Vetzan. This tour with your MTB through Val Venosta/Vinschgau is unforgettable and incredibly varied – a real highlight.

Tschilli Freeride Tour
You can explore Val Venosta/Vinschgau on MTB perfectly from the Residence Mathilda. You ride on the Via Claudia Augusta as far as the cable car in Laces/Latsch, which takes you up to San Martino al Monte/St. Martin im Kofel at 1,740 m. Now it’s time to put on your knee protectors and the freeriding fun on a thrilling descent that is technically challenging and a fantastic adventure can begin. You return to Coldrano/Goldrain via the Ratschillhof farm (an opportunity for a snack) and then finally on to Vezzano/Vetzan.
